Reliance Jio All-In-One Plans Rs. 222, Rs. 333, Rs. 444, Rs. 555 Which Includes Bundled Non-Jio Calls

Earlier this week, Telecom giant Reliance Jio launched its all-in-one plans for its prepaid customers. These all-in-one plans will be unlimited plans with all services – data, voice, SMS and complimentary Jio
apps subscription – in a single plan.

Four plans have been launched under this category. These plans are priced at Rs. 222, Rs. 333, Rs. 444 and Rs. 555 respectively. These plans come in the wake of Jio withdrawing its cheapest packs worth Rs. 19 & Rs. 52 and charging its users at 6 paisa per minute when a call is made to other telecom operators like Airtel or Vodafone-Idea in addition to the IUC or Interconnect Usage Charge plans that start at Rs. 10 onwards.

With these announcements, this is the first time that the Mukesh Ambani-led telecom giant is moving away from cheap mobile tariff plans which has been its USP and key selling point, since launch in 2016. This strategy has helped the newcomer and challenger gain over 300 million subscribers.

At an annual general meeting in August, Ambani said that they are looking to target 500 million subscribers. However, the company also launched Jio Fibre last month which offers monthly and annual
plans across price points, and this move could indicate that it eyeing a larger pie of internet consumers.

Each of the four plans have different validity benefits and perks, all of which are listed below in this article:

                        Rs. 222 Plan

The Rs. 222 plan will be valid for 28 days and will offer 2GB data per day. Additionally, this plan will also offer free Jio-to-Jio calls and 100 SMSes per day. Jio is also bundling 1000 IUC minutes for calls to other networks in this plan along with a complimentary subscription to Jio apps.

• Pack validity (days): 28
• Total data (GB): 56
• Data at high speed (Post which unlimited @ 64 Kbps): 2GB per day
• Voice: Jio to Jio Unlimited, Jio to Non-Jio FUP of 1,000 minutes
• SMS: Unlimited (100 / day)
• Jio Apps: Complimentary subscription

                       RS. 333 Plan

The Rs. 333 plan is quite similar to the Rs. 222 Jio plan, with the only difference being the terms of the validity. With this plan, subscribers will get a validity of 56 days with 1000 free IUC minutes and free Jio-to-Jio calls. However, the data benefits remain fixed at 2GB per day.

• Pack validity (days): 56
• Total data (GB): 112
• Data at high speed (Post which unlimited @ 64 Kbps): 2GB per day
• Voice: Jio to Unlimited, Jio to Non-Jio FUP of 1,000 minutes
• SMS: Unlimited (100 / day)
• Jio Apps: Complimentary subscription

                       RS. 444 Plan

While the Rs. 444 plan offers a validity of 84 days, the other benefits – data, SMSes, voice - remain the same as other two plans. Therefore, you will get 2GB data per day with 100 SMSes per day, 1000 free IUC minutes and free Jio-to-Jio calls.

• Pack validity (days): 84
• Total data (GB): 168
• Data at high speed (Post which unlimited @ 64 Kbps): 2GB per day
• Voice: Jio to Jio Unlimited, Jio to Non-Jio FUP of 1,000 minutes
• SMS: Unlimited (100 / day)
• Jio Apps: Complimentary subscription

                       RS. 555 Plan

While the Rs. 555 plan is the same as the Rs. 444 plan, it offers more free IUC minutes to subscribers. Everything else under the plan remains the same i.e. 84 days validity along with 2GB data per day, 100 SMSes, free Jio-to-Jio calls and Jio Apps subscription. However, 3000 IUC minutes will be given to subscribers with this pack. Therefore, those who make a lot of calls to other networks should opt for this plan.

• Pack validity (days): 84
• Total data (GB): 168
• Data at high speed (Post which unlimited @ 64 Kbps): 2GB per day
• Voice: Jio to Jio Unlimited, Jio to Non-Jio FUP of 3,000 minutes
• SMS: Unlimited (100 / day)
• Jio Apps: Complimentary subscription

“When compared to Jio’s existing 2GB/per day plan, the three-month 2GB per day pack will now cost only Rs. 444 instead of Rs. 448 with additional 1,000 minutes of offnet IUC minutes which would have come at nearly Rs. 80 separately,” Reliance Jio said in a statement.

Likewise, the two-month plan will now cost Rs. 333 against the earlier cost of Rs. 396 with additional 1,000 minutes outgoing calls which would cost Rs. 80 separately with IUC charges. However, the cost of
the monthly plan has gone up to Rs. 222 from Rs. 198.

While announcing these all-in-one plans to the public, Reliance Jio called them simple and hassle-free plans that might seem similar to the regular prepaid plans offered by other telecom operators, they offer more benefits and are 20-50% cheaper when compared to the existing prepaid plans of other operators. Users can also extend the benefits of these plans for up to one month at Rs. 111.

However, Jio still faces big competition from Vodafone Idea, India’s largest telecom provider. According to latest data from TRAI, while Vodafone Idea has 375 million subscribers, Jio has 348.2 million
subscribers. Airtel comes in 3rd with 327.9 million subscribers.

In wake of Jio’s announcement, both Vodafone Idea and Airtel unveiled new plans. Vodafone launched a new Rs. 229 plan that offers 2GB data per day, unlimited local calling, STD and roaming calls, and daily 100 free SMSes. The validity of the plan is 28 days. Airtel, on the other hand, announced a Rs. 249 plan that offers 2GB data per day. The plan comes bundled with unlimited calling, a validity of 28 days, 100 SMSes per day, Norton mobile security for one year, Airtel Xstream app premium access, and Wynk
Music.

Since January 2019, Jio added 58.8 million users and now has around 348.2 million users. It overtook Airtel to become the second largest telecom provider in the country and needs 27 million more users to beat Vodafone and become India’s largest telecom network. To avail the best cashback, deals and offer on top e-commerce stores, please visit KhojDeal
